An evening of stories and folk tales about handicrafts and traditional professions was enjoyed by young and old on August 1st in Heraklion's Eleftheria Square.
The evening was organized as part of the program for the 21st Exhibition of Cretan Household and Handicraft Products organized by the Development Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Crete. The Educational Development Navigator participated in the exhibition with a Home Crafts and Handicrafts stand and parallel activities.
The narrative evening began with reference to folklore elements, continued with stories from the villages of Crete and ended with traditional music.
The Handicraft stories were narrated by Maria-Stella Zeaki with the musical accompaniment of Cretan mandolin by Stefanos Samaritakis.
